Did you know?
Cockroaches, mice and flies all can carry roundworm eggs. And cats are natural hunters and will hunt and eat them all.
At least 15% of all commercial potting soils contain roundworm eggs!
Roundworms (Toxacara cati) can produce as many as 24,000 eggs a day.
1 female flea will multiply to 250,000 fleas in 30 days.
More than 25% of cats positive for Heartworm infections were kept strictly indoors.
Even indoor cats need a parasite program to prevent intestinal parasites and Heartworm disease.
Has your pet or child been diagnosed with reoccurring Ringworm infections? It may be your carpet. The fungal spores from the infection may be deep into your carpet and a thorough vacuuming will not be good enough to just remove the pet hair. One of the latest studies suggest shampooing the carpet at least twice and using a 10 minute pretreatment of a disinfectant that is labeled for use against Trichophyton spp to be effective or a commercial hot water extraction is effective, but may be a more costly solution to this problem.
