What’s the ABOLSUTE best food for your pet?

That answer is easy...the same whole, natural foods that are recommended for people.

Our doctors for years have recommended that for us humans to have a long healthy life we should eat a well balanced and appropriately portioned nutrient loaded foods.

So why do we as pet lovers, owners and veterinary staff feed premium dog and cat foods to our pets and recommend you do the same? Because inside those kibbles are the ingredients we should be eating with all the appropriate vitamins and minerals that healthy pets need for their specific life stage. And truth be told, dishing out food to 2-3 pets after a long day of work is made simple by premium kibble.

But what if feeding a homemade diet could be as simple?

Summer is here early!

Remember NEVER leave your pet unattended in a parked car for ANY period of time.

It could be a DEADLY MISTAKE!

Don’t toss out your old cell phone in the garbage; instead give it to the zoo. The Louisville Zoo and hundreds of zoos and charities in the US and Canada collect cell phones to donate to Eco-Cell, a Kentucky-based recycler that donates up to $15 to that zoo or charity for each working cell phone received. Not only can you help the zoo receive needed financial donations but keeping that cell phone out of the landfill saves the Earth from Lead and Arsenic contamination. To donate your phone go to www.eco-cell.org or drop them off here at the clinic. All donations made at the hospital will benefit the Louisville Zoo.

Interesting fact:
P& G Pet Care and the Murphy Cancer Foundation are performing research to study the environmental and genetic characteristics of Rottweilers. Rotties, which often live to 13 years of age-the equivalent of 100 for humans-are surprisingly more cancer resistant than other dog breeds. Researchers hope to discover the secret to cancer-free living and longevity.
